Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2773 حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ أَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هَانِي بْنِ هَانِي عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ لَمَّا وُلِدَ الْحَسَنُ سَمَّيْتُهُ حَرْبًا فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَرُونِي ابْنِي مَا سَمَّيْتُمُوهُ؟» فَقُلْتُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ «بَلْ هُوَ حَسَنٌ» فَلَمَّا وُلِدَ الْحُسَيْنُ سَمَّيْناهُ حَرْبًا فَأَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «ائْتُونِي ابْنِي مَا سَمَّيْتُمُوهُ؟» فَقُلْتُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ «بَلْ هُوَ حُسَيْنٌ» فَلَمَّا وُلِدَ الثَّالِثُ سَمَّيْتُهُ حَرْبًا فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَرُونِي ابْنِي مَا سَمَّيْتُمُوهُ؟» فَقُلْتُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ «بَلْ هُوَ مُحَسِّنٌ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهُمْ بِأَسْمَاءِ وَلَدِ هَارُونَ شَبَرَ وَشُبَيْرَ وَمُشَبِّرَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When al-Hasan was born, I named him Harb (War). The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came and said: "Show me my son. What did you name him?" I said: "Harb." He said: "Rather, he is Hasan." When al-Husayn was born, we named him Harb. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came and said: "Bring me my son. What did you name him?" I said: "Harb." He said: "Rather, he is Husayn." When the third was born, I named him Harb. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came and said: "Show me my son. What did you name him?" I said: "Harb." He said: "Rather, he is Muhassin." Then he said: "I named them after the sons of Harun (Aaron): Shabar, Shubayr, and Mushabbar."
