Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2744 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ مَرَّتْ جِنَازَةٌ بِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ فَقَامَ الْحَسَنُ وَقَعَدَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ «أَلَيْسَ قَدْ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِجِنَازَةِ يَهُودِيٍّ أَوْ يَهُودِيَّةٍ مَرَّتْ بِهِ؟» فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «بَلَى وَجَلَسَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
A funeral passed by Ibn 'Abbas and al-Hasan ibn 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with them). Al-Hasan stood and Ibn 'Abbas remained seated. Al-Hasan said: "Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) not stand for the funeral of a Jewish man or woman that passed by him?" Ibn 'Abbas said: "Yes, and he also sat (i.e., later stopped standing)."
