Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2175 حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبَ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ جُنَادَةَ الْأَزْدِيِّ أَنَّهُمْ وَلَجُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُمْ ثَمَانِيَةُ رَهْطٍ هُوَ ثَامِنُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ لِرَجُلٍ «كُلْ» فَقَالَ صَائِمٌ قَالَ لِآخَرَ «كُلْ» فَقَال�� صَائِمٌ حَتَّى سَأَلَهُمْ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ «صُمْتُمْ أَمْسِ؟» فَقَالُوا لَا فَقَالَ «أَصُيَّامٌ غَدًا؟» قَالُوا لَا «فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Jabir ibn 'Abdullah said: "When 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn Haram was killed on the Day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'O Jabir, shall I not inform you of what Allah said to your father?' — and he never spoke to anyone except from behind a veil — He spoke to your father directly and said: 'O My servant, ask Me and I will give you.' He said: 'O Lord, bring me back to life so that I may be killed for Your sake a second time.' He said: 'I have already decreed that they shall not return.' He said: 'O Lord, then convey this to those I have left behind.' So Allah revealed: 'And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision' (3:169)."
