Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1537 حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَرَّاقٌ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مِنْ وَلَدِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ عُثْمَانَ بِنْتُ سَعِيدٍ وَهِي جَدَّتِي عَنْ أَبِيهَا سَعِيدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ تَاجِرًا إِلَى الشَّامِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَلَمَّا كُنْتُ بِأَدْنَى الشَّامِ لَقِيَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ فَقَالَ هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ رَجُلٌ تَنَبَّأَ؟ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ هَلْ تَعْرِفُ صُورَتَهُ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهَا؟ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَأَدْخَلَنِي بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُوَرٌ فَلَمْ أَرَ صُورَةَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَبَيْنَا أَنَا كَذَلِكَ إِذْ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ فِيمَ أَنْتُمْ؟ فَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ فَذَهَبَ بِنَا إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ فَسَاعةَ مَا دَخَلْتُ نَظَرْتُ إِلَى صُورَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَإِذَا رَجُلٌ آخِذٌ بِعَقِبِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الْقَائِمُ عَلَى عَقِبِهِ؟ قَالَ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيٌّ إِلَّا كَانَ بَعْدَهُ نَبِيٌّ إِلَّا هَذَا فَإِنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدَهُ وَهَذَا الْخَلِيفَةُ بَعْدَهُ وَإِذَا صِفَةُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Jubayr ibn Mut'im: I went out as a trader to Syria during the time of Jahiliyyah. When I was in the nearest part of Syria, a man from the People of the Book met me and said: "Is there among you a man who has claimed prophethood?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Would you recognize his appearance if you saw it?" I said: "Yes." He took me into a house that had images, but I did not see the image of the Prophet (peace be upon him). While I was there, another man from among them entered upon us and asked: "What are you looking for?" We told him, so he took us to his house. The moment I entered, I saw the image of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and there was a man standing behind the Prophet (peace be upon him). I asked: "Who is this man at his heels?" He said: "Every prophet has had a prophet after him, except this one, for there is no prophet after him. This one is the caliph (successor) after him." And lo, it was the description of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
