Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1463 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ أَمَّرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ مُؤْتَةَ زَيْدَ بْنَ حَارِثَةَ وَقَالَ «إِنْ قُتِلَ زَيْدٌ فَجَعْفَرٌ فَإِنْ قُتِلَ جَعْفَرٌ فَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ «فَكُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ فِي تِلْكَ الْغَزْوَةِ فَالْتَمَسْنَا جَعْفَرًا فَوَجَدْنَا مَا قَبِلَ مِنْ جِسْمِهِ بِضْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ بَيْنَ طَعْنَةٍ وَرَمْيَةٍ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) appointed commanders for the Battle of Mu'tah: Zayd ibn Harithah, and he said: "If Zayd is killed, then Ja'far. If Ja'far is killed, then 'Abdullah ibn Rawahah." 'Abdullah said: "I was with them in that battle. We searched for Ja'far and found in the front of his body over ninety (wounds) — between stab wounds and arrow strikes."
