Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12416 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيُّ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْمُلَائِيِّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا فُتِحَ عَلَى عَادٍ مِنَ الرِّيحِ إِلَّا مِثْلُ مَوْضِعِ الْخَاتَمِ ثُمَّ أُرْسِلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَحَمَلَتْهُمُ الْبَدْوُ إِلَى الْحَضَرِ وَلَمَّا رَآهَا أَهْلُ الْحَضَرِ {قَالُوا هَذَا عَارِضٌ مُمْطِرُنَا} مُسْتَقْبِلٌ أَوْدِيَتَنَا فَكَانَ أَهْلُ الْبَوَادِي فِيهَا فَأَلْقَى أَهْلُ الْبَادِيَةِ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْحَاضِرَةِ حَتَّى هَلَكُوا قَالَ «عَتَتْ عَلَى خُزَّانِهَا حَتَّى خَرَجَتْ مِنَ الْأَبْوَابِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The wind that was unleashed upon the people of 'Ad was only opened the size of a ring, then it was sent upon them. The desert dwellers were carried to the city dwellers, and when the city dwellers saw it, they said: {This is a cloud bringing us rain} heading towards our valleys. But the desert dwellers were in it, and they were cast upon the city dwellers until all perished.' He said: 'It rebelled against its keepers and burst through the gates.'
