Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12395 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا وَقَعَ فِي أَبٍ كَانَ لِلْعَبَّاسِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَلَطَمَهُ الْعَبَّاسُ فَجَاءَ قَوْمُهُ فَقَالُوا وَاللهِ لَنَلْطِمَنَّهُ وَحَمَلُوا السِّلَاحَ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَيُّ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ تَعْلَمُونَ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللهِ؟» قَالُوا أَنْتَ قَالَ «فَإِنَّ الْعَبَّاسَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ لَا تَسُبُّوا أَمْوَاتَنَا فَتُؤْذُوا أَحْيَاءَنَا» فَجَاءَ الْقَوْمُ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ غَضَبِكَ اسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
A man insulted an ancestor of al-Abbas from the pre-Islamic era, so al-Abbas slapped him. His people came and said: 'By Allah, we shall slap him back!' and they carried weapons. News of this reached the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), so he ascended the pulpit and said: 'O people, which of the inhabitants of the earth do you know is the most honored by Allah?' They said: 'You.' He said: 'Al-Abbas is from me and I am from him. Do not insult our dead, for you will hurt our living.' So the people came and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we seek refuge in Allah from your anger. Forgive us.'
