Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1175 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ حُرَيْثٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ وَالْبَرَاءِ قَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا ثَلَاثِينَ وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا يَعْنِي تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Masruq and al-Bara' narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Fast when you see it (the new moon) and break your fast when you see it. If it is cloudy, then complete thirty days." And he gestured with his hand: "The month is like this and like this," meaning twenty-nine.
