Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11846 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِقَتْلِ الْحَيَّاتِ وَقَالَ «مَنْ تَرَكَهُنَّ خَشْيَةَ أَوْ مَخَافَةَ ثأرٍ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا» قَالَ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «إِنَّ الْحَيَّاتِ مَسِيخُ الْجِنِّ كَمَا مُسِخَتِ الْقِرَدَةُ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas reported, and I do not know except that he traced this to the Prophet: He used to command killing snakes and said: 'Whoever leaves them out of fear of their retaliation is not one of us.' Ibn Abbas also said: 'Snakes are the transformed jinn, just as apes were transformed from the Children of Israel.'
