Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11336 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى عُمَرَ وَمَعَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ «أمؤمنونَ أَنْتُمْ؟» فَسَكَتُوا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ فِي آخِرِهِنَّ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَمِمَّ ذَاكَ؟» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ نَرْجُو ثَوَابًا مِنَ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مُؤْمِنُونَ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered upon Umar while some of his companions were with him and said: 'Are you believers?' They remained silent, three times. Then Umar said at the last one: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'And what makes you so?' Umar said: 'We hope for reward from Allah.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'You are indeed believers, by the Lord of the Ka'bah!'
