وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لقي ركبا بالروحاء فقال: "من القوم؟" قالوا: المسلمون. قالوا من أنت؟ قال: "رسول الله" فرفعت امرأة صبيًا فقالت: ألهذا حج؟ قال "نعم ولك أجر" ((رواه مسلم)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came across a caravan at Ar-Rauha' and asked who the people in the caravan were. They replied that they were Muslims. They asked: "Who are you?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "I am the Beloved Messenger of Allah." Then a woman lifted up a boy to him and asked: "Would this child be credited with having performed the Hajj (pilgrimage)?" Whereupon he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Yes, and you will have a reward.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مقام روحاء پر ایک قافلے سے ملے تو ارشاد فرمایا: یہ کون لوگ ہیں؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا: مسلمان ہیں۔ پھر انہوں نے عرض کیا: آپ کون ہیں؟ ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کے رسول۔ تب ایک عورت نے اپنا بچہ اٹھا کر دکھایا اور عرض کیا: کیا اس کا حج ہو سکتا ہے؟ ارشاد فرمایا: ہاں، اور تمہیں بھی ثواب ملے گا۔ (مسلم)
