وعن أبى هنيدة وائل بن حجر رضي الله عنه قال: سأل سلمة بن يزيد الجعفي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فقال: يا نبي الله، أرأيت إن قامت علينا امراء يسألونا حقهم، ويمنعونا حقنا، فما تأمرنا؟ فأعرض عنه، ثم سأله، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم “اسمعوا وأطيعو؛ فإنما عليهما حملوا، وعليكم ماحملتم” ((رواه مسلم)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:Salamah bin Yazid Al-Ju'f (may Allah be well pleased with him) asked Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): "O Prophet of Allah! Tell us, what you command us to do if there arises over us rulers who demand of us what is due to them and refuse us what is due to us." Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) turned away from him, but he repeated the same question. Thereupon Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Listen to them and obey them. They are responsible for their obligations and you are accountable for yours.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو ہنیدہ وائل بن حجر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ سلمۃ بن یزید جعفی نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا: یا نبی اللہ! اگر ہم پر ایسے حکمران آ جائیں جو ہم سے اپنا حق مانگیں اور ہمارا حق روکیں تو آپ ہمیں کیا حکم فرماتے ہیں؟ آپ نے اس سے اعراض فرمایا، پھر اس نے دوبارہ پوچھا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سنو اور اطاعت کرو، ان پر وہ (بوجھ) ہے جو ان پر لادا گیا ہے اور تم پر وہ (بوجھ) ہے جو تم پر لادا گیا ہے۔ (مسلم)
