عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما أن رجلاً سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : أى الإسلام خير؟ قال: "تطعم الطعام، وتقرأ السلام على من عرفت ومن لم تعرف". ((متفق عليه)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported that a man asked Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), "Which act in Islam is the best?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "To feed (the poor and the needy) and to greet those whom you know and those you do not know.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا: اسلام کا کون سا عمل بہترین ہے؟ ارشاد فرمایا: کھانا کھلاؤ اور سلام کرو جسے تم جانتے ہو اور جسے نہیں جانتے۔ (متفق علیہ)
