عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم "إنَّ اللَّهَ طَيِّبٌ لَا يَقْبَلُ إلَّا طَيِّبًا، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِمَا أَمَرَ بِهِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ فَقَالَ تَعَالَى: "يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنْ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا"، وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: "يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ" ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الرَّجُلَ يُطِيلُ السَّفَرَ أَشْعَثَ أَغْبَرَ يَمُدُّ يَدَيْهِ إلَى السَّمَاءِ: يَا رَبِّ! يَا رَبِّ! وَمَطْعَمُهُ حَرَامٌ، وَمَشْرَبُهُ حَرَامٌ، وَمَلْبَسُهُ حَرَامٌ، وَغُذِّيَ بِالْحَرَامِ، فَأَنَّى يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ؟".
انگریزی ترجمہ
On the authority of Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Verily, Allah the Most High is Pure and accepts only that which is pure. And verily, Allah has commanded the believers with that which He commanded the Messengers. He the Most High said: 'O Messengers! Eat of the pure things and perform righteous deeds.' And He the Most High said: 'O you who believe! Eat of the good things with which We have provided you.'" Then the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) mentioned a man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty, raising his hands to the sky, crying: "O Lord! O Lord!" — while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he has been nourished with the unlawful. So how can his supplication be answered?
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ پاک ہے اور صرف پاک چیز ہی قبول فرماتا ہے، اور بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ نے مومنوں کو وہی حکم دیا جو رسولوں کو دیا۔ فرمایا: "اے رسولو! پاکیزہ چیزیں کھاؤ اور نیک عمل کرو۔" اور فرمایا: "اے ایمان والو! کھاؤ ہماری دی ہوئی پاکیزہ چیزوں میں سے۔" پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس شخص کا ذکر فرمایا جو لمبا سفر کرتا ہے، پراگندہ بال اور غبار آلود، اپنے ہاتھ آسمان کی طرف اٹھاتا ہے: یا رب! یا رب! حالانکہ اس کا کھانا حرام، اس کا پینا حرام، اس کا لباس حرام، اور حرام سے ہی پلا بڑھا ہے، تو اس کی دعا کیسے قبول ہو؟
