أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَتِ الْيَهُودُ إِذَا حَاضَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْهُمْ لَمْ يُؤَاكِلُوهُنَّ وَلَمْ يُشَارِبُوهُنَّ وَلَمْ يُجَامِعُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ فَسَأَلُوا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى } الآيَةَ فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُؤَاكِلُوهُنَّ وَيُشَارِبُوهُنَّ وَيُجَامِعُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ وَأَنْ يَصْنَعُوا بِهِنَّ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ مَا خَلاَ الْجِمَاعَ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated that Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "When one of their womenfolk menstruated, the Jews would not eat or drink with them, nor mix with them in their houses. They asked the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about that, and Allah the Mighty and Sublime revealed: The ask you concerning menstruation. Say: 'That is an Adha (a harmful thing).'[2] So the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) commanded them to eat and drink with them (menstruating women) and to mix with them in their houses, and to do everything with them except intercourse. The Jews said: 'The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) does not leave anything against it.' Usaid bin Hudair and 'Abbad bin Bishr went and told the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and they said: 'Should we have intercourse with them when they are menstruating?' The expression of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) changed greatly until we thought that he was angry with them, and they left. Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) received a gift of milk, so he sent someone to bring them back and he gave them some to drink, so they knew that he was not angry with them." اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ یہود کی عورتیں جب حائضہ ہوتیں تو وہ ان کے ساتھ نہ کھاتے پیتے اور نہ انہیں گھروں میں اپنے ساتھ رکھتے، تو لوگوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے اس کے متعلق دریافت کیا، تو اللہ عزوجل نے آیت کریمہ: «ويسألونك عن المحيض قل هو أذى» ( البقرہ: ۲۲۲ ) لوگ آپ سے حیض کے متعلق دریافت کرتے ہیں، آپ فرما دیجئیے: وہ گندگی ہے نازل فرمائی، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ وہ ان کے ساتھ کھائیں، پئیں اور انہیں اپنے ساتھ گھروں میں رکھیں، اور جماع کے علاوہ ان کے ساتھ سب کچھ کریں۔
