أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدٌ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ يَصُومُ الدَّهْرَ قَالَ " لاَ صَامَ وَلاَ أَفْطَرَ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated from Mutarrif bin 'Abdullah bin 'Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir:"My father told me that he heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say, when mention was made in his presence of a man who fasted for the rest of his life: 'He neither fasted nor broke his fast."' 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life, then he has not fasted
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن شخیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنا اور آپ کے سامنے ایک ایسے شخص کا ذکر کیا گیا تھا جو ہمیشہ روزہ رکھتا تھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس نے نہ روزہ رکھا اور نہ ہی افطار کیا“۔
