Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Every prophet has a supplication that is guaranteed to be answered. Every prophet hastened to use his supplication in this world, but I have saved my supplication to intercede for my nation on the Day of Judgment. By Allah's permission, my intercession will be for every member of my nation who dies without associating anything with Allah."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: ہر نبی کی ایک دعا ہے جو ضرور قبول ہوتی ہے اور ہر نبی نے جلدی کر کے وہ دعا (دنیا ہی میں) مانگ لی اور میں اپنی دعا کو قیامت کے دن کیلئے، اپنی امت کی شفاعت کیلئے چھپا کر رکھتا ہوں اور اللہ کے حکم سے (میری) شفاعت ہر اس امتی کیلئے ہو گی جو حال میں فوت ہوا کہ اس نے اللہ کے ساتھ شرک نہیں کیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 95]
