Narrated Yazid ibn al-Asamm (may Allah be pleased with him): Umm al-Mu'minin Maymunah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) herself told me that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) married her while he was in the state of being free (from ihram), and Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) was the maternal aunt of both me and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them). سیدنا یزید بن اصم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمجھ سے ام المؤمنین میمونہ بنت حارث رضی اللہ عنہا نے خود بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان سے حلال ہونے کی حالت میں نکاح کیا اور میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا میری اور ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما دونوں کی خالہ تھیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 816]
