Narrated Yala ibn Munyah (may Allah be pleased with him), relating from his father, he said: A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he (peace be upon him) was at Jiranah, and the man was wearing a cloak on which some perfume had been applied—or he said there was some trace of yellowness. He said, "What do you command me regarding the (manner of) Umrah?" At that moment revelation began to descend upon him (peace be upon him), so a cloth was placed over him (peace be upon him). Yala (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I wished to see the Prophet (peace be upon him) at the moment when revelation descended upon him (peace be upon him)." Then he says: Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Do you wish to see the Prophet (peace be upon him) while revelation descends upon him (peace be upon him)?" Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) lifted the corner of the cloth, and I saw him (peace be upon him) breathing heavily and snoring—the narrator said, I think he said, like a young camel breathing heavily. Then, when the revelation upon him (peace be upon him) had ended, he said, "Where is the one who asked about Umrah?" (And he said,) "Wash off the trace of yellowness, or he said the trace of perfume and the like, from your clothes and such, take off your tunic, and do in Umrah what you do in Hajj."
اردو ترجمہ
یعلیٰ بن منیہ رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے والد سے بیان کرتے ہوئے کہتے ہیں کہایک شخص نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجعرانہ میں تھے اور وہ شخص ایک جبہ پہنے ہوئے تھا جس پر کچھ خوشبو لگی ہوئی تھی یا یہ کہا کہ زردی کا کچھ اثر تھا۔ اس نے عرض کیا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممجھے عمرے کے (طریقے کے) متعلق کیا حکم فرماتے ہیں؟ اتنے میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر وحی اترنے لگی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو ایک کپڑا اوڑھا دیا گیا۔ یعلیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے آرزو تھی کہ میں نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو اس وقت دیکھوں جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر وحی اترتی ہو۔ پھر کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ کیا تم چاہتے ہو کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو دیکھو جبکہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر وحی اترتی ہو؟ پھر سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کپڑے کا کونہ اٹھا دیا اور میں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو دیکھا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماس طرح ہانپتے اور خرانٹے لیتے تھے راوی نے کہا کہ میں گمان کرتا ہوں کہ انہوں نے کہا جیسے جوان اونٹ ہانپتا ہو۔ پھر جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے وحی تمام ہو چکی تو فرمایا کہ عمرہ کے بارے میں پوچھنے والا سائل کہاں ہے؟ (اور فرمایا کہ) اپنے کپڑے وغیرہ سے زردی کا یا فرمایا کہ خوشبو وغیرہ کا اثر دھو ڈالو اور اپنا کرتہ اتار ڈالو اور عمرہ میں وہی کرو جو حج میں کرتے ہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 677]
