انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying: In that (land) which is watered by streams and rain, the zakat is a tithe (that is, one-tenth), and in that which is irrigated by drawing water with camels, half the tithe (that is, one-twentieth as zakat) is obligatory. اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ جس (کھیت) میں نہروں اور بارش (کے ذریعے) سے پانی دیا جائے اس میں عشر (یعنی دسواں حصہ) زکوٰۃ ہے اور جو اونٹ لگا کر سینچی جائے اس میں نصف العشیر (یعنی بیسواں حصہ زکوٰۃ) فرض ہے[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 503]
