Narrated the Mother of the Believers, Aishah as-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to pray thirteen rak'ahs at night. Of these, five were the Witr, and he would sit only at the end (i.e., he prayed the five rak'ahs of Witr with a single tashahhud). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 382]

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمرات کو تیرہ رکعت پڑھتے۔ ان میں سے پانچ وتر ہوتیں اور صرف آخر میں بیٹھے (یعنی پانچ رکعات وتر ایک تشہد سے پڑھتے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 382]
