انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him): A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said, "I do not attend the morning congregation because of so-and-so, for he prolongs the recitation." I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as angry in admonishing as I saw him that day. He said: "O people! Among you are some who drive people away from religion. Whoever of you leads the prayer, let him keep it brief, for behind him are the old, the weak, and the one with work to do." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 318]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہایک شخص رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور عرض کیا کہ میں فلاں شخص کی وجہ سے صبح کی جماعت میں نہیں آتا کیونکہ وہ قرآت لمبی کرتا ہے تو میں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو نصیحت کرنے میں کبھی اتنے غصے میں نہیں دیکھا جتنا اس دن دیکھا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے لوگو! تم میں سے بعض لوگ ایسے ہیں جو دین سے متنفر کریں۔ جو کوئی تم میں سے امامت کرے تو مختصر نماز پڑھے اس لئے کہ اس کے پیچھے بوڑھا اور کمزور اور کام والا ہوتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 318]
