انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Eighty armed men of Makkah came down from the mountain of Tan'im upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), by treachery and while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and the Companions were unaware, wishing to attack the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his Companions. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) seized them but did not kill them. Then Allah the Exalted revealed this verse, that is: "It is He (Allah) who withheld their hands from you (and their plot availed them nothing) and your hands from them (that is, you did not kill them), after He had made you victorious over them, within the boundary of Makkah." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2165]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہمکہ کے اسی مسلح آدمی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر تنعیم کے پہاڑ سے اترے، وہ دھوکہ اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی غفلت کی حالت میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماور صحابہ کرام پر (حملہ کرنا چاہتے تھے)۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کو پکڑ لیا لیکن قتل نہیں کیا۔ تب اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس آیت کو اتارا کہ”یعنی وہ اللہ ہے جس نے ان کے ہاتھوں کو تم سے روکا (اور ان کا فریب کچھ نہ چلا) اور تمہارے ہاتھوں سے ان کو روکا (یعنی تم نے ان کو قتل نہ کیا)۔ مکہ کی سرحد میں ان پر فتح ہو جانے کے بعد۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2165]
