انگریزی ترجمہ
The Mother of the Believers Aisha as-Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), regarding the saying of Allah, the Exalted — "When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes turned aside and the hearts reached the throats" — said: This was revealed concerning the Battle of the Trench (that day there was extreme hardship upon the Muslims. Allah, the Exalted, said: On that day We sent against the disbelievers a host you did not see, and a fierce wind).
اردو ترجمہ
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا اللہ تعالیٰ کےقول”جب وہ تم پر آئے تمہارے اوپر سے نیچے سے اور جب آنکھیں پھر گئیں اور دل حلق تک آ گئے“کے بارے میں کہتی ہیں کہ یہ غزوہ خندق کے متعلق اتری (اس دن مسلمانوں پر نہایت سختی تھی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا کہ ہم نے اس دن کافروں پر ایک لشکر بھیجا جن کو تم نے نہیں دیکھا اور تیز ہوا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2159]
