Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Nafi' ibn 'Utbah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on a campaign when some people came to him (peace be upon him) from the direction of the west, wearing garments of wool. They met the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) beside a mound. They were standing and he (peace be upon him) was sitting. My heart said to me, "Go and stand between these people and him (peace be upon him), lest they treacherously kill him (peace be upon him)." Then my heart said, "Perhaps he (peace be upon him) is speaking with them privately (and my going may displease him, peace be upon him)." Then I went and stood between those people and him (peace be upon him). So at that time I remembered four things from him (peace be upon him), which I count on my hand. He (peace be upon him) said: "You will first wage war in the Arabian Peninsula (against the disbelievers), and Allah the Exalted will grant you conquest over it. Then you will fight Persia (Iran), and Allah the Exalted will grant you conquest over it also. Then you will fight the Christians, the people of Rome, and Allah the Exalted will grant conquest over Rome also. Then you will fight the Dajjal, and Allah the Exalted will grant you conquest over him also." (This hadith is a great miracle of his, peace be upon him.) Nafi' said, "O Jabir ibn Samurah! We think that the Dajjal will appear only after Rome is conquered."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا جابر بن سمرۃ رضی اللہ عنہ سیدنا نافع بن عتبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہانہوں نے کہا ہم ایک جہاد میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ تھے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس کچھ لوگ مغرب کی طرف سے آئے جو اون کے کپڑے پہنے ہوئے تھے۔ وہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے ایک ٹیلے کے پاس آ کر ملے۔ وہ لوگ کھڑے تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمبیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ میرے دل نے کہا کہ تو چل اور ان لوگوں اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے درمیان میں جا کر کھڑا ہو، ایسا نہ ہو کہ یہ لوگ فریب سے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو مار ڈالیں۔ پھر میرے دل نے کہا کہ شاید آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمچپکے سے کچھ باتیں ان سے کرتے ہوں (اور میرا جانا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو ناگوار گزرے)۔ پھر میں گیا اور ان لوگوں کے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے درمیان میں کھڑا ہو گیا۔ پس میں نے اس وقت آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے چار باتیں یاد کیں، جن کو میں اپنے ہاتھ پر گنتا ہوں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم پہلے تو عرب کے جزیرہ میں (کافروں سے) جہاد کرو گے، اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو فتح کر دے گا۔ پھر فارس (ایران) سے جہاد کرو گے، اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر بھی فتح کر دے گا پھر نصاریٰ سے لڑو گے روم والوں سے، اللہ تعالیٰ روم کو بھی فتح کر دے گا۔ پھر دجال سے لڑو گے اور اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو بھی فتح کر دے گا (یہ حدیث آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا بڑا معجزہ ہے)۔ نافع نے کہا کہ اے جابر بن سمرہ! ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ دجال روم فتح ہونے کے بعد ہی نکلے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2028]
