انگریزی ترجمہ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that Allah will say to the person who will have the lightest punishment in Hell: "If you had the world and all that is in it, would you give it to ransom yourself from the punishment?" He will say, "Yes." Allah will say: "I wanted something far easier of you (which cost nothing) when you were in the loins of Adam (peace be upon him)—that you should not associate anything with Me, and I would not put you into Hell. But you refused and committed shirk." (God forbid! Shirk is such a sin that it will not be forgiven, and one who commits shirk, if he dies in that state of shirk, will remain in Hell forever.)
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہاللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص سے فرمائے گا جس کو جہنم میں سب سے ہلکا عذاب ہو گا کہ اگر تیرے پاس دنیا اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے، ہوتا تو کیا تو اس کو دے کر اپنے آپ کو عذاب سے چھڑاتا؟ وہ بولے گا کہ ہاں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا کہ میں نے تو اس سے بہت آسان بات چاہی تھی (جس میں کچھ خرچ نہ تھا) جب آدم علیہ السلام کی پشت میں تھا کہ تم شرک نہ کرنا میں تجھے جہنم میں نہ لے جاؤں گا تو نے نہ مانا اور شرک کیا۔ (معاذاللہ شرک ایسا گناہ ہے کہ وہ بخشا نہ جائے گا اور شرک کرنے والا اگر شرک کی حالت میں مرے تو ہمیشہ ہمیشہ جہنم میں رہے گا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1955]
