انگریزی ترجمہ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) narrated from his Lord that a servant committed a sin and said, "O Allah! Forgive my sin." Allah said, "My servant has committed a sin, then he knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for sins." Then he committed a sin and said, "O my Lord! Forgive my sin." Allah said, "My servant has committed a sin, and he knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for sins." Then he committed a sin and said, "O my Sustainer! Forgive my sin." Allah said, "My servant has committed a sin, and he knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for sins. O servant! Now do as you wish; I have forgiven you." (The narrator) 'Abd al-A'la said: "I do not remember whether he said 'Now do as you wish' the third time or the fourth time."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنے رب سے روایت کی کہ ایک بندہ گناہ کر بیٹھا تو کہا کہ اے اللہ! میرا گناہ بخش دے۔ اللہ نے فرمایا کہ میرے بندے نے گناہ کیا پھر اس نے جان لیا کہ اس کا ایک مالک ہے، جو گناہ بخشتا ہے اور گناہ پر مؤاخذہ کرتا ہے۔ پھر اس نے گناہ کیا اور کہا کہ اے میرے مالک! میرا گناہ بخش دے۔ اللہ نے فرمایا کہ میرے بندہ نے ایک گناہ کیا اور اس نے یہ جان لیا کہ اس کا ایک رب ہے، جو گناہ بخشتا ہے اور گناہ پر مؤاخذہ بھی کرتا ہے۔ پھر اس نے گناہ کیا اور کہا کہ اے میرے پالنے والے! میرا گناہ بخش دے۔ اللہ نے فرمایا کہ میرے بندے نے گناہ کیا اور اس نے یہ جان لیا کہ اس کا ایک اللہ ہے، جو گناہ بخشتا ہے اور گناہ پر مؤاخذہ بھی کرتا ہے۔ اے بندے! اب تو جو چاہے عمل کر، میں نے تجھے بخش دیا۔ (راوی حدیث) عبدالاعلیٰ نے کہا کہ مجھے یاد نہیں کہ یہ”اب جو چاہے عمل کر“تیسری بار فرمایا یا چوتھی بار فرمایا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1935]
