انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say, "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will not take away knowledge by snatching it from the hearts of people, but He will take it away by taking away the scholars, until, when no scholar remains, people will take the ignorant as their leaders. They will be asked, and they will give verdicts without knowledge; they will themselves be misguided, and will misguide others."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ اللہ عزوجل اس طرح علم نہیں اٹھائے گا کہ لوگوں کے دلوں سے چھین لے، لیکن اس طرح اٹھائے گا کہ عالموں کو اٹھا لے گا یہاں تک کہ جب کوئی عالم نہ رہے گا تو لوگ جاہلوں کو اپنے سردار بنا لیں گے۔ ان سے سوال کیا جائے گا تو وہ بغیر علم کے فتویٰ دیں گے۔ وہ خود بھی گمراہ ہوں گے اور دوسروں کو بھی گمراہ کریں گے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1858]
