انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Two boys quarreled with each other. One of them was from the Emigrants and the other from the Helpers. The Emigrant called out to his Emigrants, and the Helper called out to the Helpers. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out and said, "This is the call of the era of ignorance (that everyone seeks help from his own people and fights the other people; in Islam all Muslims are one)." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! (It is nothing major) — two boys quarreled, and one struck the buttocks of the other." He (peace be upon him) said, "Then there is no cause for concern (I had thought there was some major strife). A man should help his brother, whether he is a wrongdoer or one wronged. If he is a wrongdoer, then his help is to restrain him from wrongdoing; and if he is wronged, then he helps him (and rescues him from the grip of the wrongdoer)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہدو لڑکے آپس میں لڑ پڑے۔ ان میں سے ایک مہاجرین میں سے تھا اور ایک انصار میں سے۔ مہاجر نے اپنے مہاجروں کو پکارا اور انصاری نے انصار کو تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمباہر نکلے اور فرمایا کہ یہ تو جاہلیت کا سا پکارنا ہے (کہ ہر ایک اپنی قوم سے مدد لیتا ہے اور دوسری قوم سے لڑتا ہے، اسلام میں سب مسلمان ایک ہیں) لوگوں نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! (کچھ بڑا مقدمہ نہیں) دو لڑکے لڑ پڑے تو ایک نے دوسرے کی سرین پر مارا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تو کچھ ڈر نہیں (میں تو سمجھا تھا کہ کوئی بڑا فساد ہے)۔ چاہئے کہ آدمی اپنے بھائی کی مدد کرے چاہے وہ ظالم ہو یا مظلوم۔ اگر وہ ظالم ہے تو یہ مدد کرے کہ اس کو ظلم سے روکے اور اگر مظلوم ہے تو اس کی مدد کرے (اور اس کو ظالم کے پنجہ سے چھڑائے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1832]
