Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "By Him in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, a time will come when you will not be able to see me, and seeing me will be dearer to you than your family and children and your wealth (so consider my company a treasure, for life is uncertain, and learn the matters of the religion quickly)." Abu Ishaq (that is, Ibn Muhammad bin Sufyan) said, "In my view its meaning is this: the meaning of 'la-an yarani ma'ahum' is that I understand the seeing of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to take precedence, and in this expression there is a transposition of words." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1603]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: قسم اس کی جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد کی جان ہے، ایک زمانہ ایسا آئے گا جب تم مجھے دیکھ نہ سکو گے اور میرا دیکھنا تمہیں تمہارے بال بچوں اور اپنے مال سے زیادہ عزیز ہو گا (اس لئے میری صحبت غنیمت سمجھو، زندگی کا اعتبار نہیں اور دین کی باتیں جلد سیکھ لو)۔ ابواسحاق (یعنی ابن محمد بن سفیان) نے کہا کہ میرے نزدیک اس کا معنی یہ ہے”لان یرانی معہم“کا مطلب میں یہ سمجھتا ہوں کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا دیدار مقدم ہو گا۔ اور اس عبارت میں تقدیم و تاخیر ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1603]
