انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): A man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for the sheep between two mountains, and he gave them to him. The man came to his people and said, "O people, become Muslims! By Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him) gives gifts without any fear of poverty." Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "A man would become a Muslim merely for the sake of this world, then he would become such a Muslim that Islam became dearer to him than the whole world (at first he embraced Islam out of greed, but afterwards he became sincere)." اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہایک شخص نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے دونوں پہاڑوں کے بیچ کی بکریاں مانگیں، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس کو دے دیں۔ وہ اپنی قوم کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ اے لوگو! مسلمان ہو جاؤ اللہ کی قسم محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتحفہ دیتے ہیں کہ محتاجی کا ڈر بھی نہیں کرتے۔ سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ ایک شخص محض دنیا کے لئے مسلمان ہوتا تھا، پھر وہ ایسا مسلمان ہو جاتا یہاں تک کہ اسلام اس کے نزدیک ساری دنیا سے زیادہ محبوب ہو جاتا۔ (پہلے تو لالچ میں مسلمان ہوا تھا مگر بعد میں مخلص ہو گیا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1587]
