Narrated Aisha the Truthful, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): Al-Harith bin Hisham asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), "How does revelation come to you?" He said, "Sometimes it comes like the ringing of a bell, and that is the hardest upon me; then when it ceases, I have memorized it. And sometimes an angel comes in the form of a man, and I memorize what he says." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1572]
اردو ترجمہ
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہحارث بن ہشام نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے پوچھا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر وحی کیسے آتی ہے؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ کبھی تو ایسی آتی ہے جیسے گھنٹی کی جھنکار، اور وہ مجھ پر نہایت سخت ہوتی ہے۔ پھر جب پوری ہو جاتی ہے تو میں یاد کر چکا ہوتا ہوں اور کبھی ایک فرشتہ مرد کی صورت میں آتا ہے اور جو وہ کہتا ہے میں اس کو یاد کر لیتا ہوں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1572]
