Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "My Pond is equal to a month's journey; its four corners are equal (that is, its length and breadth are the same). Its water is whiter than silver and its fragrance is better than musk. The drinking-cups placed upon it are, in number, equal to the stars of the sky. Whoever drinks from it will never thirst again." Abdullah said: Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "I will be at the Pond and will see which of you come there. And some people will be barred from coming to me, so I will say, 'O Lord! These are mine, of my ummah.' Then the reply will come, 'You do not know what deeds they did after you. By Allah, they did not remain even a little after you and turned back on their heels (they apostatized from Islam.'" (Among these people are the Kharijites, who separated from the company of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and began to regard the Muslims as disbelievers, and also included are those who did not act upon the will of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and tormented and martyred his (peace be upon him) household. اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: کہ میرا حوض ایک مہینہ کے سفر کے برابر ہے، اس کے چاروں کونے برابر ہیں (یعنی طول اور عرض یکساں ہے)، اس کا پانی چاندی سے زیادہ سفید ہے اور اس کی خوشبو مشک سے بہتر ہے۔ اس پر جو آبخورے (پیالے) رکھے ہیں، ان کی گنتی آسمان کے تاروں کے برابر ہے۔ جو اس میں سے پئے گا، پھر کبھی پیاسا نہ ہو گا۔ عبداللہ نے کہا کہ سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میں حوض پر رہوں گا اور دیکھوں گا کہ تم میں سے کون کون وہاں آتے ہیں۔ اور کچھ لوگ میرے پاس آنے سے روکے جائیں گے، تو میں کہوں گا کہ اے پروردگار! یہ لوگ میرے ہیں، میری امت کے ہیں۔ تو جواب ملے گا کہ تمہیں نہیں معلوم کہ جو کام انہوں نے تمہارے بعد کئے۔ اللہ کی قسم تمہارے بعد ذرا نہ ٹھہرے اور ایڑیوں پر لوٹ گئے (اسلام سے پھر گئے ان لوگوں میں خارجی بھی داخل ہیں جو سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ سے الگ ہو گئے اور مسلمانوں کو کافر سمجھنے لگے اور وہ لوگ بھی داخل ہیں جنہوں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی وصیت پر عمل نہ کیا اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے اہل بیت کو ستایا اور شہید کیا۔ معاذاللہ) ابن ابی ملیکہ (راوی حدیث) کہتے ہیں کہ اے اللہ ہم ایڑیوں پر لوٹ جانے سے یا دین میں فتنہ ہونے سے تیری پناہ مانگتے ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1549]
