Narrated Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The people of Mecca asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for a sign, so he (peace be upon him) showed them the splitting of the moon into two halves.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہمکہ والوں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کوئی نشانی چاہی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انہیں دو حصوں میں چاند کا پھٹنا دکھایا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1539]
