انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him): A group of the Muhajirun and the Ansar differed on this matter (the obligation of bathing). The Ansar said that bathing is obligatory only when semen gushes out and there is ejaculation, while the Muhajirun said that when a man has intercourse with a woman, bathing is obligatory. Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will satisfy you on this. I got up and went to the house of Umm al-Mu'minin Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) and sought her permission. She granted permission, and I said: "O Mother of the Believers, I wish to ask you something, but I feel shy." Umm al-Mu'minin Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Do not feel shy to ask what you could ask your own mother who gave birth to you. I too am your mother (because the wives of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, are the mothers of the believers)." I said: "By what does bathing become obligatory?" She said: "You have asked one well-informed. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: When a man sits between the four parts of a woman and the circumcised part meets the circumcised part (that is, the male organ enters the female organ), bathing becomes obligatory."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ(وجوب غسل کے) اس مسئلہ میں مہاجرین اور انصار کی ایک جماعت نے اختلاف کیا۔ انصار نے کہا کہ غسل جب ہی واجب ہوتا ہے کہ منی کود کر نکلے اور انزال ہو، جبکہ مہاجرین نے کہا کہ جب مرد عورت سے صحبت کرے، تو غسل واجب ہے۔ سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں تمہاری تسلی کئے دیتا ہوں۔ میں اٹھا اور ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے مکان پر جا کر ان سے اجازت مانگی۔ انہوں نے اجازت دی، تو میں نے کہا کہ اے ام المؤمنین میں آپ سے کچھ پوچھنا چاہتا ہوں، لیکن مجھے شرم آتی ہے۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ تو اس بات کے پوچھنے میں مت شرم کر جو اپنی سگی ماں سے پوچھ سکتا ہے جس نے تجھے جنم دیا ہے۔ میں بھی تو تیری ماں ہوں (کیونکہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی بیویاں مومنین کی مائیں ہیں) میں نے کہا کہ غسل کس سے واجب ہوتا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ تو نے اچھے واقف کار سے پوچھا، رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جب مرد عورت کے چاروں کونوں میں بیٹھے اور ختنہ ختنہ سے مل جائے (یعنی ذکر فرج میں داخل ہو جائے) تو غسل واجب ہو گیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 152]
