انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): (Once) the iqamah was called for prayer while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was speaking privately with a man. The wording of the hadith of Abd al-Warith is that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was speaking privately with a man, and he did not stand up for prayer until the people (sitting) fell asleep. And in the narration of Shu'bah it is stated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) remained engaged in private conversation until the Companions (sitting) fell asleep. Then he came and led them in prayer (he did not order them to renew their ablution).
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ(ایک مرتبہ) نماز کے لئے اقامت کہی گئی اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمایک آدمی سے سرگوشی کر ر فرما رہے تھے۔ عبدالوارث کی حدیث کے الفاظ ہیں کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمایک آدمی سے سرگوشی کر رہے تھے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنماز کے لئے کھڑے نہیں ہوئے حتیٰ کہ قوم (بیٹھی بیٹھی) سو گئی۔ اور شعبہ کی روایت میں ہے کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسرگوشی میں مصروف رہے یہاں تک کہ صحابہ (بیٹھے بیٹھے) سو گئے۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمآئے اور انہیں نماز پڑھائی (نیا وضو بنانے کا حکم نہیں دیا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 145]
