حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِالْبَيْدَاءِ - أَوْ بِذَاتِ الْجَيْشِ - انْقَطَعَ عِقْدٌ لِي فَأَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْتِمَاسِهِ وَأَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى مَاءٍ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ فَأَتَى النَّاسُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالُوا أَلاَ تَرَى إِلَى مَا صَنَعَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَقَامَتْ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَبِالنَّاسِ مَعَهُ وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى مَاءٍ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ . فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاضِعٌ رَأْسَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِي قَدْ نَامَ فَقَالَ حَبَسْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالنَّاسَ وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى مَاءٍ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ . قَالَتْ فَعَاتَبَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَقَالَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ وَجَعَلَ يَطْعُنُ بِيَدِهِ فِي خَاصِرَتِي فَلاَ يَمْنَعُنِي مِنَ التَّحَرُّكِ إِلاَّ مَكَانُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى فَخِذِي فَنَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ عَلَى غَيْرِ مَاءٍ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ آيَةَ التَّيَمُّمِ فَتَيَمَّمُوا . فَقَالَ أُسَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُضَيْرِ - وَهُوَ أَحَدُ النُّقَبَاءِ - مَا هِيَ بِأَوَّلِ بَرَكَتِكُمْ يَا آلَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ . فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَبَعَثْنَا الْبَعِيرَ الَّذِي كُنْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَوَجَدْنَا الْعِقْدَ تَحْتَهُ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat ' A'isha (may Allah be well pleased with her) reported that we went with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on one of his journeys and when we reached the place Baida' or Dhat al-Jaish, my necklace was broken (and fell somewhere). The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) along with other people stayed there for searching it. There was neither any water at that place nor was there any water with them (the Companions of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Some persons came to my father Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him) and said: Do you see what Hadrat 'A'isha has done? She has detained the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and persons accompanying him, and there is neither any water here nor with them. So Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him) came there and the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was sleeping with his head on my thigh. He (Hadrat Abu Bakr, may Allah be well pleased with him) said: You have detained the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and other persons and there is neither water here nor with them. She (Hadrat ' A'isha, may Allah be well pleased with her) said: Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him) scolded me and uttered what Allah wanted him to utter and nudged my hips with his hand. And there was nothing to prevent me from stirring but for the fact that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was lying upon my thigh. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) slept till it was dawn at a waterless place. So Allah revealed the verses pertaining to tayammum and they (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, and his Companions) performed tayammum. Hadrat Usaid bin al-Hudair (may Allah be well pleased with him), who was one of the leaders, said: This is not the first of your blessings, O family of Hadrat Abu Bakr. Hadrat ' A'isha (may Allah be well pleased with her) said: We made the camel stand which was my mount and found the necklace under it.

عبد الرحمن بن قاسم (بن محمد) نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی، کہا: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ایک سفر میں آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ نکلے، جب ہم بیداء یا ذات الجیش کے مقام پر پہنچے تو میرا ہار ٹوٹ کر گر گیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اس کی تلاش کی خاطر ٹھہر گئے، صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم بھی آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ رک گئے، نہ وہ پانی (والی جگہ) پر تھے نہ ان کے پاس پانی (بچا ہوا) تھا۔ لوگ حضرت ابو بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور عرض کیا: کیا آپ کو پتہ نہیں، حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے کیا کیا ہے؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ (دوسرے) لوگوں کو روک رکھا ہے، نہ وہ پانی (والی جگہ) پر ہیں اور نہ لوگوں کے پاس پانی بچا ہے۔ حضرت ابو بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ تشریف لائے (اس وقت) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میری ران پر سر رکھ کر سو چکے تھے اور فرمایا: تم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اور آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھیوں کو روک رکھا ہے جبکہ نہ وہ پانی والی جگہ پر ہیں اور نہ ان کے پاس پانی ہے۔ حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا: حضرت ابو بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے مجھے ڈانٹا اور جو کچھ اللہ کو منظور تھا کہا اور اپنے ہاتھ سے میری کوکھ میں کچوکے لگانے لگے، مجھے صرف اس بات نے حرکت کرنے سے روکے رکھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا سر میری ران پر تھا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سوئے رہے اور پانی کے بغیر ہی صبح ہو گئی۔ اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے تیمم کی آیت نازل فرمائی تو صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم نے تیمم کیا۔ حضرت اسید بن حضیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے، جو نقباء میں سے تھے، فرمایا: اے حضرت ابو بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے خاندان! یہ آپ کی پہلی برکت نہیں ہے۔ حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا: ہم نے اس اونٹ کو جس پر میں سوار تھی اٹھایا تو ہمیں اس کے نیچے سے ہار مل گیا۔
