وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لوكان بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ لَكَانَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ. وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar are the masters of the elders of the people of Paradise, from the first to the last, except for the prophets and messengers. Do not tell them, O 'Ali." Reported by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.
اردو ترجمہ
عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”اگر میرے بعد کوئی نبی ہوتا تو وہ عمر بن خطاب ہوتے۔ ���‘ ترمذی، اور فرمایا: یہ حدیث غریب ہے۔ اسنادہ حسن، رواہ الترمذی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 6047]
