وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: تُعْرَضُ الْفِتَنُ عَلَى الْقُلُوبِ كَالْحَصِيرِ عُودًا عُودًا فَأَيُّ قَلْبٍ أُشْرِبَهَا نَكَتَتْ فِيهِ نُكْتَةً سَوْدَاءَ وَأَيُّ قَلْبٍ أَنْكَرَهَا نُكِتَتْ فيهِ نُكْتَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ حَتَّى يَصِيرَ عَلَى قَلْبَيْنِ: أَبْيَضُ بِمثل الصَّفَا فَلَا تَضُرُّهُ فِتْنَةٌ مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَالْآخَرُ أَسْوَدُ مِرْبَادًّا كَالْكُوزِ مُجْخِيًّا لَا يَعْرِفُ مَعْرُوفًا وَلَا يُنْكِرُ مُنْكَرًا إِلَّا مَا أشْرب من هَوَاهُ رَوَاهُ مُسلم
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hudhayfah reported: People used to ask the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about the good, and I used to ask him about the evil, fearing that it would reach me. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, we were in a state of ignorance and evil, and then Allah brought us this good. Will there be any evil after this good?" He said: "Yes." I said: "And will there be good after that evil?" He said: "Yes, but it will be tainted." I said: "What will be its taint?" He said: "A people who follow a way other than my Sunnah and guide others in a way other than my guidance. You will approve of some of their actions and disapprove of others." I said: "Will there be any evil after that good?" He said: "Yes, callers at the gates of Hell. Whoever responds to them, they will throw him into it." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, describe them to us." He said: "They are from our own people and speak our language." I said: "What do you command me if I live to see that?" He said: "Hold firmly to the community of Muslims and their leader." I said: "What if there is no community and no leader?" He said: "Then withdraw from all those factions, even if you have to bite the root of a tree until death comes to you while you are in that state." Agreed upon.
اردو ترجمہ
حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”دلوں پر فتنے اس طرح مسلسل پیش کیے جائیں گے جس طرح چٹائی کے تنکے مسلسل ہوتے ہیں، جس میں وہ پیوست کر دیا گیا، اس پر ایک سیاہ نکتہ لگا دیا جاتا ہے، اور جس دل نے اسے قبول کرنے سے انکار کیا، اس پر ایک سفید نکتہ لگا دیا جاتا ہے حتیٰ کہ دل دو قسم کے ہو جائیں گے، ان میں سے ایک دل سفید پتھر کی طرح چمک دار ہو جائے گا جسے قیام قیامت تک کوئی فتنہ نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتا، جبکہ دوسرا دل سیاہ راکھ کی مانند ہو گا جیسے الٹا برتن ہو، وہ نہ تو نیکی کو پہچانتا ہے اور نہ برائی کو، وہ صرف وہی جانتا ہے جو اس کی خواہشات سے اس میں پیوست کر دیا جائے۔“رواہ مسلم۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الفتن/حدیث: 5380]
