وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَتَجَشَّأُ فَقَالَ: «أَقْصِرْ مِنْ جُشَائِكَ فَإِنَّ أَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَطْوَلُهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا». رَوَاهُ فِي «شرح السّنة». وروى التِّرْمِذِيّ نَحوه
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever emigrates to a land of Islam has succeeded. He has achieved what is sufficient and Allah has made him content. Whoever emigrates for the sake of worldly gain or a woman he wishes to marry, his emigration is for what he emigrated for." — In the hadith narrated by al-Bukhari. And in another narration: "The successful one is the one who embraced Islam and was given sufficient provision and Allah made him content with what He gave him."
اردو ترجمہ
ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک آدمی کو ڈکار لیتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا:”اپنا ڈکار کم کر، کیونکہ روز قیامت وہ شخص لوگوں سے بہت دیر تک بھوکا رہے گا جو دنیا میں خوب سیر ہو کر کھاتا تھا۔“شرح السنہ، اور امام ترمذی نے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے۔ ضعیف، رواہ فی شرح السنہ و الترمذی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الرقاق/حدیث: 5193]
