قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «طَعَامُ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ حق وَطَعَام يَوْم الثَّانِي سنة وَطَعَام يَوْم الثَّالِثِ سُمْعَةٌ وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Ibn Mas'ud reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The food on the first day is a duty, that on the second is a sunna, but that on the third day is to make men hear of it; and if anyone makes men hear of what he does God will make him heard of” (i.e. will publish his hypocrisy on the day of resurrection). Tirmidhi transmitted it.
اردو ترجمہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: پہلے دن کا کھانا حق (واجب) ہے، دوسرے دن کا سنت ہے اور تیسرے دن کا شہرت کے لیے ہے۔ اور جو شہرت چاہے اللہ تعالیٰ اسے مشہور کر دے گا (یعنی اس کی ریاکاری ظاہر فرما دے گا)۔ (ترمذی)
