عَنْ جَابِرٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا ترقبوا أَو لَا تُعْمِرُوا فَمَنْ أُرْقِبَ شَيْئًا أَوْ أُعْمِرَ فَهِيَ لوَرثَته» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Jabir reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, “Do not give property to go to the survivor* and do not give life-tenancy, for if anyone is given either the property goes to his heirs." *This is said to be objectionable, as it may lead to the men hoping the other will die first. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: رقبیٰ نہ کرو اور نہ عمریٰ۔ جسے رقبیٰ یا عمریٰ دی جائے تو وہ اس کے وارثوں کی ہے۔ (حضرت ابوداؤد)
