وَعَن بُرَيْدَة قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَخْرُجُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ حَتَّى يَطْعَمَ وَلَا يَطْعَمُ يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْن مَاجَه والدارمي
انگریزی ترجمہ
Buraida said that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not go out on the day of the breaking of the fast till he had some food, but that he did not take any food on the day of sacrifice till he had prayed. Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم عید الفطر کے دن کچھ کھائے بغیر تشریف نہ لے جاتے، اور عید الاضحیٰ کے دن نماز پڑھنے تک کچھ نہ تناول فرماتے۔ (ترمذی، ابن ماجہ)
