638 صحيح حديث جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُ غَنيمَةً بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ، إِذْ قَال لَهُ رَجُلٌ: اعْدِلْ فَقَالَ لَهُ: شَقِيتُ إِنْ لَمْ أَعْدِلْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: While the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was distributing spoils at al-Ji'ranah, a man said to him: "Be just!" He said: "I would be in trouble if I am not just. Who would be just if I am not?" Umar said: "O Messenger of Allah, let me strike his neck!" He said: "Leave him. He has companions whose prayer and fasting makes your prayer and fasting look insignificant. They recite the Quran, but it does not go past their throats. They will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through the target."
اردو ترجمہ
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممقام جعرانہ میں غنیمت تقسیم کر رہے تھے کہ ایک شخص (ذوالخویصرہ) نے آپ سے کہا: انصاف سے کام لیجیے، رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اگر میں بھی انصاف سے کام نہ لوں تو تو بدبخت ہوا۔“[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الزكاة/حدیث: 638]
