1109 صحيح حديث عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: مَا كُنْتُ لاِقِيمَ حَدًّا عَلَى أَحَدٍ فَيمُوتَ، فَأَجِدَ فِي نَفْسِي، إِلاَّ صَاحِبَ الْخَمْرِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَوْ مَاتَ وَدَيْتُهُ؛ وَذلِكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَسُنَّهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man was accused of having relations with the slave woman of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Ali: "Go to him and if you find him, strike his neck." Ali went to him and found him in a well, cooling himself. Ali told him to come out, and when he did, it was clear that he was a eunuch who had no male organ. Ali left him and returned to the Prophet and informed him that the man was a eunuch.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نہیں پسند کروں گا کہ حد میں کسی کو ایسی سزا دوں کہ وہ مر جائے اور پھر مجھے اس کا رنج ہو، سوائے شرابی کے کہ اگر یہ مر جائے تو میں اس کی دیت ادا کر دوں گا کیونکہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس کی کوئی حد مقرر نہیں کی تھی۔[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الحدود/حدیث: 1109]
