حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي فِرَاسٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ: " صَامَ نُوحٌ الدَّهْرَ إِلاَّ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ الأَضْحَى " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Firas (may Allah be well pleased with him) that he heard ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr say:“I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: ‘(the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) Nuh (upon him be peace) fasted for a lifetime, except for the Day of Fitr and the Day of Adha.’”
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر و رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہماکو فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: نوح علیہ السلام نے عید الفطر اور عید الاضحی کے علاوہ ہمیشہ روزہ رکھا ۔
