حَدَّثَنَاعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَاوَكِيعٌ، عَنْسُفْيَانَ، عَنْمَنْصُورٍ، عَنْرِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْبَعْضِأَصْحَابِ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: أَصْبَحَالنَّاسُ صِيَامًا تَمَامَ الثَّلاثِينَ، فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيَّانِ، فَشَهِدَا أَنَّهُمَا أَهَلا الْهِلالَ بِالأَمْسِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلنَّاسِ:" فَأَفْطِرُوا".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated: The people woke up fasting on the thirtieth day. Then two Bedouins came and testified that they had sighted the crescent the previous evening. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told the people: "Break your fast."
اردو ترجمہ
رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے کسی صحابی سے مروی ہے کہ لوگوں (صحابہ) نے تیسواں روزہ رکھا، دو اعرابیوں نے آکر گواہی دی کہ انہوں نے کل چاند دیکھا ہے۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے لوگوں کو حکم دیا، تو انہوں نے روزہ افطار کر دیا۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الصيام/حدیث: 396]
