حَدَّثَنَامُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: ثَنَاعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ فَارِسٍ، قَالَ: أَنَاابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنِالْحَسَنِ، عَنْعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لا تَسْأَلِ الإِمَارَةَ، فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ أُعْطِيتَهَا عَنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ أُعِنْتَ عَلَيْهَا، وَإِنْ أُعْطِيتَهَا عَنْ مَسْأَلَةٍ وُكِلْتَ إِلَيْهَا".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to him when he sent him to Bahrain: In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is the obligation of charity (zakat) which the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prescribed upon the Muslims, as commanded by Allah. For twenty-four camels or fewer, one sheep for every five camels. When they reach twenty-five to thirty-five, one she-camel in her second year. When they reach thirty-six to forty-five, one she-camel in her third year...
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: مانگ کر امارت نہ لینا۔ اگر بغیر مانگے آپ کو امارت دی گئی تو آپ کی مدد کی جائے گی، اور اگر آپ نے مانگ کر امارت لی تو آپ کو اس کے حوالے کر دیا جائے گا۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الزكاة/حدیث: 338]
