Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Whoever follows a funeral procession and offers the funeral prayer will get a reward equal to one qirat, and whoever follows it until the deceased is buried will get a reward equal to two qirats.' It was asked: 'What are two qirats?' He replied: 'Like two huge mountains.'
