أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ مِنْ وَلَدِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ خِرَاشٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) passed by him while he was moving his lips. He asked: «What are you saying, O Abu Umamah?» He said: «I am remembering my Lord.» He stated: «Shall I not inform you of what is more or better than your remembrance during the night along with the day, and during the day along with the night? That you say: Glory be to Allah as many times as the number of what He created, Glory be to Allah to the fullness of what He created, Glory be to Allah as many times as the number of what is in the earth and the sky, Glory be to Allah to the fullness of what is in the earth and the sky, Glory be to Allah as many times as what His Book has recorded, Glory be to Allah as many times as the number of everything, Glory be to Allah to the fullness of everything, and you say: All praise is for Allah likewise.»
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوامامہ باہلی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ان کے پاس سے گزرے جبکہ وہ اپنے ہونٹ ہلا رہے تھے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: «اے ابوامامہ! تم کیا کہہ رہے ہو؟» انہوں نے کہا: «میں اپنے رب کا ذکر کر رہا ہوں۔» آپ نے فرمایا: «کیا میں تمہیں ایسی بات نہ بتاؤں جو تمہارے رات کے ساتھ دن اور دن کے ساتھ رات کے ذکر سے زیادہ یا بہتر ہو؟ یہ کہ تم کہو: سبحان اللہ عدد ما خلق، سبحان اللہ ملء ما خلق، سبحان اللہ عدد ما فی الارض والسماء، سبحان اللہ ملء ما فی الارض والسماء، سبحان اللہ عدد ما احصی کتابہ، سبحان اللہ عدد کل شیء، سبحان اللہ ملء کل شیء، اور تم کہو: الحمد للہ اسی طرح۔»
